Wayfinding signage design at 6w, hkstp

Brief

Room 23, who was working on the interior design of a converted wet lab building at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP), invited me to design a wayfinding system for the newly-renovated building.

Concept

Collaborating with Room 23 on the conversion of a legacy wet lab at HKSTP, I developed a comprehensive wayfinding system that aligns the spatial navigation with the building’s new architectural vision.

Using a geometric system of “connecting lines” and a palette of industrial metallics, I designed a pictogram and signage language that provides functional clarity while reinforcing the site’s unique industrial-innovation aesthetic, preserving the building’s scientific heritage while fostering a modern, co-working atmosphere.
